Does anyone know how to train a dog to take golfing?

I want to train a dog to go to the golf course with me. Just a buddy thing. Has anyone ever did this?

    well i guess it would have to start off being a puppy and growing up going to the golf course… most dogs know how to play fetch and actually bring it back to you so i guess it should be that hard to teach it the course around a gold course

    Are dogs even allowed on golf courses? You better check with the golf course first before you waste money on training your dog.
