Shock collar, hit the dog with wadded up news paper or magizine, and or spray the dog with water everytime it barks

If your dog is kept outdoors then you don’t really have much you can do about that other than an electric collar , If indoors scold the dog verbally whenever it starts acting up , If an indoor dog use a crate it is a very useful training tool .

Is your dog crate trained? If not, you could try training the dog to sleep in the crate at night. I always crate my poodle at night and she does fine, but one night I decided to forego the crate since she’s completely housebroken, but she kept barking at any little noise that she heard. I kept telling her to be quiet and reassuring her that there was nothing outside, but it didn’t work. Needless to say, I ended up putting her back in the crate and she stopped barking immediately and slept like a baby.

dogs love peanut butter if you give him some tehn it will stick to his mouth and he can’t bark anymore

Yikes! You people are quick on the draw with the electric shock collars! They also have spray collars that have citronella in them. Instead of an electric shock the dog gets sprayed with that instead and they hate the smell and it interrupts them every time they try to bark. You could also try putting a muzzle on him every time he starts barking. Leave it on for 30 seconds and take it off. Put it back on if he starts again. And so on … you get the idea. This works pretty well.

is she getting enough exercise during the day??

Dogs usually bark for a reason. is she an indoor dog? maybe she wants to be let out to go pee before bed? does she want more water? more attention?

whatever you do, don’t hit her.

My dogs bark every time they go outside and it not only annoys us but our neighbors. All we do is bring them inside. They sleep with us and sleep through the whole night usually. They’re not small dogs either but it’s like a feeling of security. Crate training has helped a lot of dog owners. Hitting and yelling doesn’t do much but make you look and feel like a jerk.

Say to him/her no quit nicely first and then if it doesn’t listen as a kid doesn’t listen then after telling him not to bark spray him with cold water in a spray bottle like a hair cuter has and it will listen eventually but remember give him/her a chance after the first bark IF IT doesn’t listen THEN SPRAY .

vinger with water is also recommended for stubborn dogs.

dont know the exact situation but maybe a toy maybe some sort of teddy bear type thing that squeaks. and puppy treats now and then likely when it listens to not barking .

I have been having a problem with my neighbors lately and it seems like they are letting their dogs bark on purpose. I thought that there was nothing that I could do since they were not my dogs but apparently I was wrong.

There were a few products that I tried but none seemed to work until I bought The Barking Dog CD. It really works and it is so easy to use. To say that I was impressed is an understatement.
