It’s a little, male poodle dog. It always bark madly at people entering my house. It’ll run quickly, and bite painlessly people who afraid of him. This is funny to some but not to many. So he must be trained. The following have been tried : “NO!”, “Newspaper”, “Ultrasonic remote (too late)”. Need advice.

put a muzzle on the dog. If it bark disiplene it with a newspaper, magazine or a stick.

    Train it to behave.

Go sign up for obedience classes.

A dog that bites and barks at your guests is a dog who thinks he’s king of the castle, and you’re letting him.

Take a peek at Cesar Millan’s “Be the Pack Leader.” It will do wonders not only for your relationship with your dog, but your personal and business life, too.

    Good luck!

hit it when it goes to bite them and when it barks tell it to shut up.

For some reason, your dog probably is afraid of people he/she doesn’t know all that well….it’d take repetition but if you have those people/guests give him treats he/she will associate people with treats and he should start to like other people more.

keep your dog on a leash inside the house, then when he starts to get aggressive take a squirt bottle and squirt him, that way it is not an abusive behavior (hitting, poking) and he wont associate it with you, he will associate the water with the behavior

    I’m assuming this isn’t a puppy?

When you have guests arrive, be sure you first have your dog on a leash. Tell your guests not to acknowledge your dog. A dog uses their nose, eyes then ears (in that order). This is entirely opposite of how we do: ears, eyes, and then nose.

Check out the websites and videos from Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer). In the last attachment, click on ‘Mastering Leadership’ then ‘Clip from Becoming a Pack Leader’.

Ok….. I have never been a fan of muzzles for a dog i think its mean and cruel,Make sure you stand directly in front of the dog say no and hold him back make sure that your voice is stern.if it still doesn’t work put him in a different room until hes settled in. then go in and take him out and let him sniff lick ETC….if he bites put him in the room and wait again it should teach him not to act this way and he wont like that room so make sure its not a place that he needs..Food ,water, kennel, toys etc
hope it helps sorry if its to long good luck!!!

You really need professional advise. A dog that bites is dangerous and if you don’t know how to train dogs you should not try to alter this dangerous behaviour yourself. You are opening innocent people up to serious, possably disfiguring, injury.
