What is your recommendation for the best brand of housebreaking pads for dogs?

I have been using Simple Solution brand training pads for my 10 month old Silky Terrier and I have recently began to notice that the urine leaks through more than ever now. I don’t know if its the pad or the increasing amount of urine as my dog gets older.. but its getting bad. I cant recall if it was always like this because I have been using them since day 1. Is there a particular brand that you would recommend? I now have to use 2 pads everytime to avoid leakage.
To answer Lorraine’s question…

My dog is already housebroken and will go outside if he is let out. We use the pads during the day when no one is home to let him out when he needs to do his business.

hi why do you use the pads arent they for puppys who are really young why cant you take your dog out to the garden to relieve him ? or out for a quick walk if you havent got a garden , my dog is 9 months old and has been housetrained to go outside for 5 months now , i used the pads and gradually got nearer the garden door so the pads ended up in the garden , just curious to know why cant you do the same ??xx
