how can i make my next door neighbors dog stop barking?

there is no law against killing an animal that poses a neusance. by the time the cops show up, the dogs are silent. Should I kill them? Or try to work thinks out when my neighbor isnt drinking?

My dog Cookie is young and at first she never barked at all, but since my other dog Toby barked alot, now she barks at everything in sight.

I have 2 dogs. the younger one barks at everything, people, other dogs,noises.I don’t want to be shouting at her or hit her! My biggest worry is that when we have dogs at the park they both run up to other dogs barking & although i know they don’t want to fight, the other dogs might . My dogs are very small & it wouldn’t take much for another dog to hurt them. The barking at people(even people she sees all the time) is driving me mad!! Any suggestions PLEASE
