we have had my dog for two months and we cant get her house training down and shes 3 yrs old, any suggestions?

My mom is threatening to give my dog away because she has been going to the bathroom on the floor and she only likes me. Of course i see where shes coming from but i really would like to keep her so i need a effective way to train a adult dog so that i can keep my best friend

How do you keep a male dog from urinating in the house?

I have two male dogs…one that I have had since he was a puppy (now 2 yrs. old) and one that was given to me this past December (now 3 yrs. old). The first dog never had housebreaking issues until I brought another dog in the house. Also, we just made two recent moves. I don’t know what to do keep the youngest dog from urinating in the house. Can somebody give me some suggestions? Thanks

How can I get my dog to stop barking if we leave the house or put on my shoes/jacket?

If I put get near the door, put on my shoes or jacket, my dog starts barking really loudly. I love my doggy but his barks get a little annoying sometimes. Is there any way to make him a little quieter?

My dad is the type of person that he “will not” tolerate a dog barking at him in his own home or when he comes into his own home. My dog is fairly small and cant be a threat, but its just the principal of it. Sometimes he will bark and sometimes he will growl at him. We have all rough housed and played with him, but my dad is the only one he barks at and growls at. Any suggestion on how to get him to stop. My dad is not a very big animal person, i mean he does play with him, but he is not gonna take the “extra” time with him. What do i need to do to break my dog of this habit and quick?

Housebreaking an adult dog who pees in the house?

Casey is our female maltese and she is 4 years old. I think we made a major mistake by using puppy training pads when she was little because what began to happen was that she only wanted to use the bathroom in the house. She’s four years old and I feel like a terrible dog keeper for letting it ever get this bad. What is so frustrating is that she loves to go outside but she never wants to use the bathroom.

I don’t want you to think I’m stupid or have no common sense when i say this, but she goes if you stand in the yard and watch her. I know that if we do that every time she will use the bathroom and there will be no problems but we tried this forever and it wasn’t working. I would like to be able to just open the door when she wants to go out which is very very frequent and she will just go and do her business. Its been so difficult to housebreak her and our other male dog who is 2. He still needs some help but for some reason he isn’t even half as bad as Casey.

But i would really like some tips or suggestions or products that you would think may work for them! Thanks very much!
