Dog Obedience training with Ron and Mac

Shelties are lovely little dogs, very family-oriented,and anxious to please. Mac is just two years old, and I have been training him in Obedience for about a year. Our next challenge is to move on to Agility work (but he may have to lose a litle weight first!!)

Sorry, I mean, don’t try to run before you can walk though… You need to get that dog on your leg and close on your heel free before you start with your A recall. I know in America you lose points for ‘crowding’ but you should aim for 6inches away from your leg. Use a cue word, ‘watch me’ or ‘close’ works nicely for me!!
Enjoy her, she’s really coming on.

At only 6 months of age, your Sheltie is still just a baby.
How long have you had her?
Has she always barked at people (and other dogs) during her walks on a leash?
At home, is she friendly with visitors or is she wary of them?
Do you have a Dog Obedience Club in your area?

What can you give for advice,to make sheltie (girl 6 monts) to not bark on people and dogs on a street during a walk on a leash?

As a dog lover I want to go to the Tom Rose school and start my own obedience classes for dogs.
