www.dog-obedience-training-review.com Learn how to teach your dog the cool dog trick “Beg”. Using a target stick, clicker and your dogs most favorite treats you can build the “Beg” step-by-step. Please note that your dog will have to be familiar with the target stick (targeting) and clicker in order to be trained as in the video. Dog tricks are the best fun you can have with your dog – enjoy!

i subbed even though i don’t own any shih tzu,,lol. i was trying to convice my mom..haha
5 stars, new subscriber.
I liked how you trained this poochie, thanks!!!
Hi – thanks for your kind comments.
Me and Macy went through the steps required to learn the “Beg” over a two week period. This involved many short 2-3 minute sessions each day.
All the best with your dog.
your dog’s so cute! she look like an ewok begging like that. i have a fat lhasa apso and she looks like a buddah when begging lol. how long did you train your dog to beg?
all dogs do that its not the same thing.
lol my dog already knows how to beg but in the different way she just looks at you cutly
shih-tzu aww
Shih-Tzu’s are pretty cute, but im not much for small dogs
You can have my one if you like.
Only kidding.
Shih-Tzu’s are pretty cool dogs though.
Dammit i wish i had a dog now.
It all depends on your dog and your skill as a trainer.
In the long run it doesn’t matter how long it takes to teach a new trick or any behavior. The important thing is to have fun with it and enjoy the process.
how long does it take you to teach these tricks to your dog
Amazing !!! Thanks for sharing
i am sooo teaching my dog all the tricks she doesnt know yet!!!!!!!
Hi, thanks for your comments.
Yes you need to give your dog lots of treats when building a trick.
Keep in mind that the treats are very small and healthy. Plus you can always weigh the treats and take the total weight off your dog’s daily meal allowance.
All the best.
Dang, how many treats do you have to give your dog… He’s going to be obese after all those treats and he’ll be passing out instead of begging. I do like that method though, but not so many treats.
Thanks for your comments – I’ll try to get another video up in the next few weeks.
Maybe you guys can make a video of your own dog leaning some tricks?
hi, thanks for putting up the videors. your dog is sooo cute and smart. put up more videos please, yours is by far the easiest to learn.
I don’t think he’s giving her like a whole treat; probably the size of a piece of kibble. It’s what most trainers do.
Cool, thanks. I’m sure sit and down are quite easy. What do you recommend for stay? High five would probably be a good one that I would be interested in seeing.
Thanks for your support!
I will try to get some more videos done – I’ve just got to find the time.
Thanks again.
Chris
You need to put up more videos. I’ve just watched a ton and yours are way better then most lol.
thanks he is 6 months he is getting better I think I was a bit Impatient
Keep clicking any raise of the head but slowly raise the target stick so your dog must lift up off his haunches to reach the stick. If he doesn’t reach up, he doesn’t earn a click or treat.
Note: Ensure that your dog is in good physical health and capable of rocking back on his haunches.
Good luck with it.
my dog wont jump on step he just lifts his head
